We cut hair the old way

Yiannis opened Ferro in 2016, after twelve years behind other people's chairs. In 2021 his brother Petros took the second one. That is the whole shop: two barbers, two chairs, and no plan for a third.

A cut takes as long as it takes. Clippers and scissors, a straight razor round the neck, a hot towel if you are in for a shave. Walk in and you get served when there is room, but most people book ahead. Now you can do that here instead of ringing us.

What we do

Haircut

45 minutes. Clippers and scissors, a straight razor round the neck, washed and finished.
Haircut and beard

60 minutes. The full sit-down. Cut first, then the beard shaped and lined up.
Beard trim and shape

30 minutes. Trimmed, shaped and lined, hot towel and oil at the end.
Hot-towel shave

40 minutes. Steamed towel, brush and lather, straight razor, cold towel after.
Kids cut, under 12

30 minutes. Same chair, same work, at whatever pace the kid allows.
